Russalka resort- a small oasis in Bulgaria
 
        Rusalka Resort is a Bulgarian Black Sea resort situated in the picturesque bird bay called Tauk Liman. Situated near the famous historical landmarks Aylata and Cape Kaliakra. The resort is surrounded by picturesque forest, and unique nature define it as national reserve. The resort has no hotels but offers comfortable accommodation in 600 family houses - villas on two and three storey with double and triple rooms. There are family rooms as well (two double rooms joined by an intermediate door, particularly favorable to holidays by families with two children).

        Rusalka resort is located 90 kilometers from Varna Airport and 34 kilometers from Balchik and 20 kilometers from Kavarna. Clean air and crystal sea water make it desirable place for summer vacation. It was built by French architects' idea like a resort club in 1968 similar of the Club Mediteranee with all inclusive service, offering a wonderful opportunity to vacations during the summer. The coastal strip provides a great choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs, taverns and bars, some of its are included in the package price, whilst the others you can get at extra payment. The resort is famous for its rocky bays and exotic nature. Hotels or villas in Rusalka offer amazing bay views.

       In a close proximity there are many archaeological places, castles, caves(the oldest dating from before 8000 years) and monuments  from different periods of Bulgarian history. The climate is moderate continental with a significant influence on the Black Sea and Mediterranean climate. The average air temperature in summer is 22-28 C, and the water temperature 21 - 25 C. In summer sunny days there are some rains.
      The fans of the water sports and the attractions enjoy the 15 tennis courts, 15 boats and canoes, volleyball and small football playgrounds, fitness rooms, table tennis, horseback riding and scuba diving, archery, and playgrounds.
