The town of Obzor is situated in the middle way between the towns Varna and Bourgas and is 6 km to the south of the town of Byala. Its population is slightly over 2000 people. It lies on the ridges of the Balkan Mountains that slope towards the Black Sea and along the Dvoynitsa River. Obzor is a sea resort, its beach is over 7 km long, cover by golden sand. The beach line here is one of the largest one on the Black Sea coast. The shore is low and sandy with a fully open horizon to the east. The sea is calm and it is perfect for swimming, surfing and water skiing.
